RCA, SU, AKSDO & CDCC emerge easy winners in MNCA T-20 Trophy

Imphal, January 11 2024:
RCA, SU, AKSDO and CDCC were easy winners in the 4th MNCA Luwangpokpa T-20 Trophy on Thursday.
RCA thrashed KCDO by 10 wickets at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium, Imphal.
They skittled out KCDO for a meagre 76 in 15.1 overs and then completed the chase in 7 overs.
Md Danish khan spearheaded the RCA's lethal bowling attack where Danish scalped 4 wickets.
Zuned, on the other hand, impressed with 3 wickets and Iliyas took one wicket, paving the way for their team's win.
For KCDO, only Md Ajizur Rahman (18), Hafiz Imran (13 not out) and Md Umar Sheikh (10) got into double digits in their innings.
RCA made short work of KCDO's bowlers as Naesh Hussain and MD Danish Khan guided their side to a dominant 10-wicket, win in 7 overs.
Naesh hit an unbeaten 52 off 27 balls while fellow Danish was not out for 25 off 15 balls.
SU, meanwhile, recorded a comprehensive 9-wicket result against MPA at Public Ground, Khangabok Part-Ill Cherapur, Thoubal.
SU restricted MPA to 93/9 after the latter electing to bat.
The innings saw Chingtham Albish Singh (37) emerge as the lone performer for SU.
Ch Muhinikanta (10 not out) and Thongam Joychandra (10) also managed to reach double figures.
In their attack, Takhellambam Herojit Singh, Sapam Rabichandra Singh and Loitongbam Naoton picked 2 wickets apiece while Rahul Rajkumar and Kennedy Singh Karam got one each for SU.
SU then wrapped up victory in 11.1 overs with 9 wickets to spare as Kennedy Singh Karam led the chase with 52 and Rahul Rajkumar was unbeaten on 38.Kennedy was dismissed by Vivekraj Chabungbam.
AKSDO also enjoyed easy win with an 8-wicket hammering of KIYC at Model Hr Secondary & Oriental College Ground, Imphal.
Put in to bat, KIYC struggled to score and were stalled at 79/9.Wakip Sheikh (14 not out), Md Mutkabir Rahim (11 not out), Mohd Abdul Hamid (12), Mohammad Abdulla Khan (12) and Mv Md Aman (12) were the batters who could score in double digits.
For AKSDO, Sanayai Ningthoujam claimed 3 wickets, Saikhom Kaiku Singh and Winchelly Laishram bagged 2 each, and Saikhom Lanchenba Meitei contributed one.
AKSDO then achieved the target in 9.1 overs with the help of Chinglensana Moirangthem (32 not out), Bishorjit Mangang (24), Laishram Samson Meetei (13 not out) and Prameshwor Moirangthem (1).In the process, both Bishorjit and Prameshwor fell to Mohd Abdul Hamid.
CDCC beat NCA by 4 wickets at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal.
Electing to bat, NCA scored 183/9 with efforts from Angom Robinhood Singh (69), Bobby Yumnam (37 not out), Shinoj Khwairakpam (17) and Pukhrambam Hilbert Singh (14) .
CDCC's bowling saw Fm Sharif claim 3 wickets, Mandingbam Surjit Singh take 2, and Kshetrimayum Robert and Mutum Jodiba chip in with one apiece.
In their run chase, CDCC took 18 overs to round off the chase with contributions from Kshetrimayum Robert (56 not out), Ansar (49), Priyojit Narengbam (36) and Konjengbam Monish (22).In the process, CDCC lost 2 wickets each to Chourjeet Rk and Roshan Konthoujam, and one to Thokchom Sushil Singh.
