Justice Ahanthem Bimol flags off MASLSA's Mobile Van

Imphal, November 08 2023: As a part of the celebration of Legal Services Day 2023, Justice Ahanthem Bimol Singh, Executive Chairman, MASLSA, today launched the week-long Legal Awareness Campaign by flagging off the Mobile Van of MASLSA from the office of MASLSA, Lamphel Court Complex.

The flagging off ceremony was attended by Alek Muivah, Member Secretary, MASLSA; RK Memcha Devi, District & Sessions Judge, Imphal West; W Tonen Meitei, District & Sessions Judge, Imphal East; Judicial Officers of Cheirap & Lamphel Court Complex; Ksh Shivakanta, Superintendent of Police Imphal West; advocates Ch Momon Singh & B Supriya; media personnel, Para Legal Volunteers and staff of Legal Services Authorities, said a release issued by MASLSA.

The Mobile Van was stationed at Ima Keithel in front of Cheirap Court complex where various activities such as handing out leaflets, short talks on legal rights, question & answers from the public and legal quizzes were conducted and prizes were distributed to all the participants.

The women vendor at Ima market gave a resounding response by asking many questions related to legal issues.

The awareness programme conducted in front of Cheirap Court complex also drew a huge response from students of Ibotonsana Higher Secondary School & Success Academy.
