Humanitarian aid extended, medical camp conducted

All Manipur AYUSH Doctors Association today organised a free medical camp cum yoga awareness programme at the shelter camp opened in Leirijao Upper Primary School, Khurkhul.
The medical camp was conducted under the supervision of National Health Mission, AYUSH Division and Directorate of Health Services.
During the event, medical care and free medicines were provided to about 168 persons.
In continuation of the humanitarian aid extended to the people affected by the ongoing conflict in the State, members of Langthbal Kendra Tengbang Lup today provided relief materials to 42 displaced persons who are currently taking refuge at Naorem Leikai, Asem Leikai, Sorokhaibam Leikai, Kakwa Laiphrakpam Leikai and Khongnang Pheidekpi.

In a release, the Lup informed that it has so far provided humanitarian aid to 439 displaced persons who are taking shelter at various places.
Moreover, the Karam Awang Leikai Meira Paibi and Karam Awang Leikai Young Club have jointly provided monetary aid of Rs 30,000 to the volunteers who are currently camping at Senjam Chirang to defend the area.
Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai Women Welfare Association Apunba Meira Paibi Lup also provided relief materials to the volunteers who are camping at Nongmaijing Hills to protect the "Sanamahi Kiyong Temple" .
