COCOMI extends gratitude to all

The Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) has expressed gratitude to all sections of the society for standing together with the committee and making the July 29 mass rally a significant and successful rally.
COCOMI, in a statement, said grievances and sufferings of the people have reached a new height owing to the rampant killings, abduction, arsons carried out by Chin-Kuki narco terrorists under a hidden agenda of their own since May 3 .
The "Mass Rally Against Chin-Kuki Narco Terrorists" was taken out yesterday to raise a common voice against all forms of crimes perpetrated by the terrorists and to show the strength of unity against divisive forces, it said.
The democratic and peaceful rally attended by lakhs of people from every nook and corner of the State began at THAU ground in Thangmeiband and culminated at Hapta Kangjeibung with a meeting was a resounding success, it noted.
The unprecedented gathering has shown the world that the State is ready to face every force which would dare to disturb the integrity of the State, it said.
COCOMI would like to extend its gratitude to all the local clubs, organisations, Meira Paibi mothers who attended the rally by putting love for the motherland, compassion and love above all, it said.
It also thanked Tent House Associations, Manipur Sound Association for their support in publicity and stage arrangement; Hospitals, Indian Red Cross Society, Government and private Ambulance service providers and other individuals, firms and groups for their invaluable support and contributions.
COCOMI also sought the support of all to help realise the common wishes of the people.
It also urged all people who wish to add up or provide valuable suggestions to reach out to them.
