Saying that the doctors visiting relief camps twice a week is appreciable, the Commission suggested the Government to make an arrangement for staff nurses to visit the relief camps daily.
The MHRC went on to state that the Government should provide essential medicines and those prescribed by doctors to the internally displaced people.
Asking the Government to provide Rs 50,000 each to those students who sustained serious injuries as announced by the Chief Minister, the MHRC continued that the Commission may be informed on how much compensation is going to be paid to other injured people.
