MTGS, peace committee, private citizens extend relief efforts

Mission Transformation of Government Schools, Manipur (MTGS), a voluntary team of Government teachers has extended aid in the form of stationery items to young students at seven different relief camps.
It may be noted that the aid extension was carried out to assist the children sheltering in various relief camps in their studies.
The stationery items include notebooks, pencils, erasers etc.
The study materials were also donated in remembrance of Late Gautam Nongmaithem.
The items were distributed to children at Wabagai Higher Secondary; Keirak Sanatombi High School; Langmeidong Higher Secondary; UFO Charoipung, Mayang Imphal; Thambal Leima High School, Iramsiphai; Samurou High School, Samurou and Ideal Girls' College, Akampat relief camps over the span of two days in the first phase of MTGS's relief initiative.
MTGS has assured to extend all possible support to those who have been displaced by the conflict.
Separately, Peace & Integrity Committee Haokha Mamang Leikai has distributed essential commodities to the inmates of Keibi Khullen Zilla Parishad relief camp today.
The Peace Committee has appealed for speedy resolution of the ongoing crisis so that peace may be restored in Manipur.
Naorem Bindya and Sanasam Roma, rationing agents of Wangjing Tentha Assembly Constituency, polling station 34/4 in association with local womenfolk donated essential items including four bags of rice to the inmates of Wangjing Kodompokpi Sports Complex relief camp.
