Ukhrul, August 31 2023: Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS) organised a training programme on 'Bookkeeping and Account Management' for two clusters registered in Sivathei Farmers Producer Company Ltd under Mission Organic Value Chain Development for North East Region (MOVCDNER) Phase-III.

The training programme was conducted for the Farmer interest Groups (FIGs) leaders for smooth account handling in their farming operations.

District Co-ordinator DSSS, Ukhrul Y Solomon and field staff P Honpam educated the farmers on basic account management including bookkeeping, account management and maintenance of cash book, ledger, attendance book, saving & contribution register book for fair and transparent running the office of their respective Farmer Interest Groups.

The training programme was conducted in two separate venues namely Marem and New Canaan village.

Sivathei FPC cultivates king chillies and other crops under MOMA projects.

Altogether 29 individuals from 4 FIGs participated in today's training programme.
