MMA practice centre coming up at Angaan Ching

As a part of continuation of 'Eco Club Activities' and celebration of Teachers' Day, 100 varieties of tree saplings were planted at Angaan Ching Eco Park Heritage Complex today.
Dinesh Naorem of Kakching Sumang Leikai Makha Lou who won two medals at the recently concluded GAMMA Asian MMA Championship held in Kyrgyzstan, was also felicitated during the plantation drive cum teachers' day celebration programme organised by Alliance for Development Alternatives-Manipur (ADAM), Kakching in association with the Management Committee of Angaan Ching Eco Park, Kakching Trekkers and Team Helmet.
The programme was also attended by Ksh Manihar, Addl SP (Ops) Kakching, personnel of commando unit of District police, members of Friendship Sporting Club, Kakching Phousupat Leikai.
The organisers feted Dinesh Naorem and Ksh Manihar with 'Lengyan Phi/shawls' at the occasion besides ADAM's secretary Surjit Kshetrimayum presenting "Yes SHE" printed T-Shirts to Dinesh Naorem, Ksh Manihar and president of Friendship Sporting Club, P Inaosana, said a statement issued by co-ordinator, Management Committee of Angaan Ching Eco Park.
Surjit Kshetrimayum also elucidated the participants about the Angaan Ching Eco Park Movement before the guests, Dinesh Naorem and Ksh Manipur led in planting trees, it said.
Surjit also maintained that an MMA practice centre will soon be developed at Angaan Ching Eco Park considering the lack of a proper practice centre for martial art enthusiasts of the area.
