Lilong MLA Antas Khan resumes public discussion

Concerned over the incident of fire that caused destruction to SDO Lilong office building few days back, Lilong MLA Y Antas Khan has warned that anyone found involved will be not be spared if the fire happens to be deliberately caused.
After brief suspension due to COVID-19 pandemic, Y Antas Khan has resumed his public discussion at his residence at Lilong Haoreibi Mayai Leikai from Sunday.
During the public discussion, Antas Khan said it was very unfortunate that fire reduced SDO Lilong building to ashes four days back.
The fire might have occurred accidentally but if anyone is found involved and deliberately ignited the fire, then they will not be spared, he said, adding that investigation is going to ascertain cause of the fire.
The MLA also talked about various development programmes to be taken up in Lilong AC during the discussion programme attended by around 1000 people.
He also said Lilong Upak (wooden) Thong will be replaced by Bailey bridge and foundation stone for the same will be laid soon.
Regarding the Bill being brought out by Hill Areas Committee of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Antas Khan said that it is natural for community having less population to feel insecure but leaders of such communities need to guide people to the right path.
