RCA crush CDCC by 103 runs in Superplate Tournament

Imphal, March 15 2023: RCA handed CDCC a crushing 103-run defeat via VJD method in Wednesday's action of the MNCA Superplate Tournament.

Opting to bat, RCA posted a competitive total of 235/7 in their 40 overs with contributions from Aziz Mirza (71 not out), Afjal Khan (52), Syed Hussain (45) and Imran Khan (34) .

Chasing a revised target of 221 (29 overs), under pressure CDCC were stopped at 117 / 9.Viking Salam (31), T Rakesh (15), N Prithichand (ll), Asif (ll not out), Priyojit (10) and M Jodiba (10) were the batters who got into double digits in their dismal run chase.

Md Danish Khan shone with the ball by taking four wickets as Naesh Hussain came up with a three-wick-et haul and Bm Sabakhan snapped two to propel RCA to an emphatic win.

Earlier, K Robert claimed three wickets while Asif, N Prithichand and Geerish took one each for CDCCC.
