PTRC, THAU ease to wins in Women's T-20 Trophy

Imphal, April 19 2023:
PTRC and THAU emerged easy winners in Wednesday's action of the MNCA Women's T-20 Trophy at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
PTRC secured their fourth straight win with a 199-run hammering of FORCE.
Put in to bat, PTRC produced a brilliant batting show piling up 265/2 in their 20 overs as RK Linthoingambi top-scored with 87 off 46 balls.
On the other hand, Loidangton Thokchom impressed with 56, Ranjita Koijam made 24 and Bidyarani was unbeaten 22.Both wickets of PTRC fell to E Firdos Hasina.
After their solid batting display, PTRC followed it up with economical bowling spells to force FORCE to remain stuck at 66/8 even after the last over.
RK Linthoingambi claimed three wickets, Konsam Sayatombi and Manimacha Devi snapped two each, Ranjita got one in their emphatic win.
Linthoingambi earned the player of the match.
Earlier, THAU inflicted a crushing 10-wicket defeat on PTCC.
THAU bundled out PTCC in 13.3 overs for a mere 24 courtesy of Milan Chanu Yambem and Niruta Thoudam who both took three wickets each as Priyanshee Hanglem picked up two, with Bunty Devi and Monica Devi accounting for one each in their remarkable bowling performance.
THAU then needed 3.3 overs to complete the run chase with the help of Kalpana Keisham (15 not out) and Ronibala Chanu (10 not out).
Niruta Thoudam earned the player of the match title.
