SAIRC top 3rd Khelo India NE Archery Tourney

SAIRC dominated the 3rd Khelo India North East (Mizoram, Nagaland and Manipur) Archery Tournament hosted at SAI NERC, Takyel.
SAIRC finished top in 5 categories of the competition as VAA and UAC followed suit by topping in two categories.
VAA's Th Senya and Mutum Prity shot 131 and 83 points respectively to secure first and second position in the individual Olympic Round Sub-Junior girls Compound competition.
UAC's RK Priyobarta (139) and M Robinson (129) in the meantime finished first and second in the sub-junior boys compound event.
In the junior girls' individual compound competition, N Roshni of UAC shot 115 points to seal the top honour as Bidya Wahengbam of VAA finished second with 73 points.

H Teuton (128) of SAIRC finished first in the junior boys' event beating his compatriot L Yohenba who shot 116 points in the final showdown.
Ksh Manglemsana of VAA emerged first in the Olympic Round senior women's compound event shooting 132 points against P Lily Chanu of SAIRC who gathered 116 points as Welson Meitei Takhellambam of ARAC posted 116 points to seal the senior men's pole position.
RK Herojit of VAA finished second in the senior men's competition with 104 points.
In the Individual Olympic Round Recurve competition for sub-junior girls, L Rabina of SAIRC (6 pts), S Henthoi of NSA (2pts) and Jenifer Paonam of VAA (6 pts) finished first second and third position as Md Amirarshad Khan of BCAC (6 pts), K Rohit of SAIRC (4 pts) and I Orbit of KMAC (6 pts) secured top three positions in the sub-junior boys' competition.
Y Anupama of SAIRC (6 pts), Chongtham Naobi of VAA (2 pts) and H Alphabati of NSA (6 pts) in the meantime secured top three places in the junior girls recurve competition while AK Amarjit of SAIRC (6 pts), L Nelson of SAIRC (2 pts) and Ng Nabadwip (6 pts) finished first, second and third in junior boys event.
Sanai Th of SAIRC beat compatriot Th Shwasita 6-4 to claim the senior women's individual Olympic Round recurve title as Chingakham Achanba of FAC thumped T Sen of ARAC 7-1 for the senior men's title.
