Imphal, August 18 2021:
Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) observed its 28th Martyrs' Day (Athoubasinggi NingsingNumit), also known as "August Taranipal", today.
During the observance, the KYKL cadres offered rich tributes to the Kanglei revolutionaries who have sacrificed their lives to establish an independent socialist society for the Kanglei people, said the outfit in a statement.
Saying that they observed the day at its 1st, 2nd, and 3rd battalions, units, transit camps as well as in a number of locations in and outside Kangleipak, KYKL said that the observation, however, was held simply due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
