Flood hit Pallel seeks Govt assistance

Chandel, August 03 2015:
Social Development Organisation (SDO), Pallel has today alleged that no relief materials have been sent to the flood-affected places of Pallel by the State Government.
Speaking to media persons, SDO, Pallel general secretary ST Mangang said more than 100 households in 6 different villages under Pallel have been affected by flood.
About 7 houses have been swept away by the strong current of Sengmai river and more than 50 paris of paddy field have been submerged, he said.
The general secretary of the organisation has also appealed to the authorities concerned to provide necessary aid to the affected villagers of the area.
