While sharing the grief and pain of the near and dear ones, Naga People's Organisation (NPO) has condoled the death of three persons on September 9 from an unknown diseases that broke out at Tunggam village under Paomata sub-division in Senapati district.
In spite of short notice, unfriendly weather and bad roads, timely action of the District Medical Team in organising a rapid medical camp for the villagers of Tunggam village prevented more deaths.
Thanks to the red alert action led by CMO Dr Loli Mao, District AIDS Control Officer and their team, NPO vice president D Kanmi said in a statement.
The statement added that Tunggam Union president Kh Daokho has expressed regrets over the inability to extend satisfactory reception or services to the Medical Team who arrived timely in village response to the prayer of the people.
