Free eye camp

Imphal, June 11 2015 :
A free eye camp was jointly organised by Shija Eye Care Foundation and Library and Educational Guidance Cultural Organisation on June 9 at the library building, Elangkhangpokpi.
Altogether, 269 patients were examined where 28 cataracts and 18 pterygium were detected.
On the same day, 26 patients were referred to Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol for corrective surgery.
21 cataract and 9 pterygium surgeries were per- formed on June 10 .
Shija Eye Care Foundation has been organising regular eye camps at various areas of the State.
