As departmental enquiry initiated against four personnel of 4th IRB has proven them of the charges levelled against them, the CO of 4th IRB has asked the concerned personnel to submit in writing as to why a major punishment should not be awarded to them within seven days.
According to the CO of 4th IRB, Lunsieh Kipgen, the enquiry has been initiated on charge of unauthorised long absence from the battalion and pending FIR case.
The four personnel are Rfm No 405512 Thangkhogin Haokip s/o T Khuplet of Pangei, Foll No 14535 Devendra Rajak s/o Ramchandra Rajak of Sorampur, Bihar, Rfm No 405524 Benjamin Rongmei s/o Akham Rongmei of Khoupum Taodaijang and Rfm No 405416 Letkhokam Haokip s/o Mangkho-on of Ukhatampak.
In case of failure to submit the necessary requirement, it would be presumed that they have nothing to say and necessary disciplinary formality of dismissal from service should follow, a notification issued by the CO said.
