Social service held at various places

With the hope to bring unity, integrity within different communities and observing Gandhi Jayanti as cleanliness day, Grace Colony Youth Club (GCYC) has conducted a social service within the Colony located at Tarung, Lamphelpat here today.
A press statement of GCYC said, the program was organised in collaboration with Women Meirapaibi Welfare Society and Grace Colony Development Committee.
Meanwhile, a separate press note of Narcotics and Affairs of Border, Manipur has informed that its officers and personnel under the supervision of S Gautam Singh, SP/NAB have conducted a one-day social service camp in and around the premises of NAB office situated at Old Lambulane, Central Jail Road on the occasion of National Cleanliness Day today.
Social work was conducted at Senapati district headquarters today on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
The historical mass social work initiated by student's community covered almost 10 Kms.
The Budding Dreams, a Non Governmental Organization, which has been symbolically launched on Oct 2 by a group of young dynamic aspiring social reformers, organized the Mass social work in collaboration with the District Administration, the All Private School Association Senapati (APSAS), Karong Senapati Town Committee (KSTC), Naga People Organization (NPO) and District Police.
The sanitation drive was carried out from Mt Everest college junction, Taphou Phyamai to Mt Zion senior Secondary School at Kathikho Karong along the NH-2., reports our correspondent.
Gandhi Global Family, Manipur Chapter has also observed the day at the residential quarters of MLA T Mangibabu .
