Free medical camp for PLHIVs

A two-day free medical camp for people living with HIV/AIDS was kick-started today at Tabitha Children Home, Mantripukhri.
Around 150 people living with HIV/AIDS drawn from interior areas of Ukhrul, Chandel, Senapati, Churachandpur and Tamenglong are registered for treatment during the two-day residential free medical camp.
Thanshok Kumkra, Director of Tabitha Children Home said special privilege is being extended to orphans and widows during the camp.
This is the eight time such free medical camp is organised by the Home.
The Babina Diagnostic Clinic has offered to provide free investigation to some cases during the camp.
Besides, Public Optical has also discounted 50 percent of its investigation fee, Thanshok said.
