In connection with the National Cleanliness Day (October 2), a competition on neatness and cleanliness for different wards of RIMS would be held.
As part of the National Sanitation Campaign, a cleanliness drive led by RIMS Director in-charge Dr Ch Arun, Medical Superintendent Prof Amuba and Nursing Superintendent Chinglembi was carried out inside RIMS premises today.
The cleanliness drive was participated by around 140 employees of the institution.

Speaking by the sideline of the cleanliness drive, Prof Amuba said that the drive was carried out with the assistance of Manipur Security Services engaged in RIMS with a view to keep the hospital and its surrounding areas neat and clean.
On the occasion of the National Cleanliness Day, a competition on neatness and cleanliness would be for the almost 40 wards of the hospital, said Chinglembi.
Three best wards would be selected and they would awarded cash prizes, she added.
