According to the chief minister, the present government welcomes educative and knowledgeable debates on television channels but will not tolerate attacks with used of arms based on television debates.
Irrespective of whether a party involved in such attacks is in power or not, all those who acted against the law will be dealt with fittingly as per law, Biren assured, while adding that both the BJP workers injured are still in hospital.
He also said that a complaint had been lodged to police to nab all those involved and punish them as per law.
Earlier in the day, observance of the 55th death anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya cum death anniversary of Shamurailatpam Madhumangol Sharma had state BJP leaders and workers led by chief minister N Biren Singh paying rich floral tributes to portraits of the two BJP leaders.
After offering his homage to the late party leaders, chief minister N Biren said that the entire people of India now remember the BJP leaders due to their visionary thoughts and it would be Narendra Modi who will be remembered more than Mahatma Gandhi by the people of the country in future.
Rahul Gandhi cannot become Narendra Modi by leading Congress party's Bharat Jodo Yatra and growing beards more than PM Modi, Biren said, adding that Narendra Modi is a patriotic leader who raised the tricolour at Lal Chowk despite restriction by the then government.
While appealing to party leaders and workers to follow the footsteps of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the chief minister said that the BJP has become strongest political party in the country now due to emulation of Pandit Upadhyaya's doctrine.
He also said that architects of the party must be honoured all the time.
While praising ideology of Pandit Deendayal and Syama Prasad Mukherjee, the chief minister said that both the late BJP leaders have very high nationalism and humanism and their philosophy was based on 'one earth, one family, one future, one universe' .
