The protest demonstration jointly organised by Tingri Youth Development Association (TYDA) and Save Environment and Pollution Control Committee (SEAPCC) at Tingri Lamkhai was attended by the denizens of Tringri, Wabagai, Leikinthabi and Potsangbam Khullen.

Saying that such 'unchecked' activities poses health threat and create untold inconvenience to the people of Tingri and its adjoining localities, Amusana maintained that the noise pollution also disrupts educational activities.
The protester also stated that they started protesting in March this year and even apprised the Chief Minister of the situation.
Claiming that the Chief Minister assured of redressal within three months, Amusana alleged that the matter was not resolved within the stipulated period but adds up bitumen melting undertaking.
Amusana further stated that dust generated by heavy vehicles is already an issue to the localities situated along the National Highway.
Expressing disappointment to the Chief Minister for not delivering his assurance, the protester cautioned that a series of agitations would be launched if the issue is not solved at the earliest.
