RS MP Sanajaoba hails Biren-led Govt

When serving the people, one needs to be sincere.
However, the previous governments only cared for temporary solutions, which in turn, hindered the development of Manipur.
Fortunately, the state has been able to witness many significant changes under the CM N Biren-led BJP government, claimed Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba.
He made the statement on the sidelines of a Ningol Chakkouba programme organised under the aegis of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC intending candidate S Kebi on Sunday.
Leishemba said that mere development of road and transport does not imply the progress of a society.
The maintenance of peaqe, law and order is key in this respect, he maintained and appreciated the works undertaken by the government during the last two years which witnessed serious impact of Covid-19 pandemic.
"It is not set in stone that only the educated can be representatives of the people.
One should be sincere and work to unite the different communities of the state," he opined, while stating that he will resign from his MP post if Manipur were to be disintegrated and stage protests along with the people.
While emphasising on the role women play in the society, Kebi urged against indulging in politics over repairing of roads and drains.
As such, she appealed to the mothers of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC to help guide the unemployed and misguided youth of the constituency.
