Nemcha Kipgen inspects developmental projects, distributes rice at Irang

Kangpokpi AC MLA Nemcha Kipgen on Sunday inspected various developmental works carried out in the Irang area and distributed free rice provided by the Prime Minister.
The MLA accompanied by BJP Kangpokpi Mandal president, Tingnei Lhouvum visited 9 Miles Poudel Basti and distributed the last free rice provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The visiting team then went to 12 miles, Chuchekhop, Manedara, and Lamchok village in Irang Part-I where the MLA distributed the rice and took stock of the people's hardships and grievances.
While inspecting the development works undertaken in the area, the MLA was visibly delighted to witness proper road connectivity, almost 100 percent power supply, and drinking-water connection apart from well constructed school building and toilet of Lamchok Primary School at Lamchok.
The people of Irang area accorded a warm welcome to the MLA and shouted "Long Live Narendra Modi", "Long Live BJP", and " Long Live Nemcha"; as a mark of gratitude to the Prime Minister for providing free rice from April 2020 and the sincerity and commitment of the local MLA in ensuring that the benefits are provided to all the beneficiaries even in remote villages.
Nemcha Kipgen was also accorded a warm welcomed at Panikhetti in Irang Part-II where a simple function was organised by the vllagers to show their appreciation to the PM and the local MLA.
It was attended by the chief and chairman of various Kukis, Nagas, and Gorkhas villages within Irang part I and Part II along with representatives from Makui village.
A leader from Makui village also lauded the local MLA for her frequent visit and for interacting with the people while pointing out that she was the first MLA from Kangpokpi AC to visit the area.
"Despite the main road, ie Imphal-Tamenglong road, one of the state's oldest highways at its worst condition, almost all the villages in the Irang area have been connected with well-constructed blacktop road under PMGSY", he added.
Nemcha Kipgen on seeing the happiness of the people expressed her contentment over various developmental works undertaken in the area while conveying gratitude to the people for their cooperation and support towards the BJP Government.
"I am truly happy to witness people of Makui area, Naga Tapon, Wakotphai area and from various Gorkha areas irrespective of caste, creed and religion coming forward and displaying unity because development could only take place when there is unity among us", she asserted.
Meanwhile, booth level meeting and enrollment of members were also conducted after the function under the aegis of BJP Kangpokpi Mandal led by its.
president Tngnei Lhouvum at Panikhetti.
The local MLA also exhorted the people to get themselves enrolled as a member of the BJP and exercise their rights towards the development of the area, state and the nation as a whole.
Later, Nemcha Kipgen distributed rice to the beneficiaries, along with bags sponsored by the MLA for the convenience of the people.
