Imphal, May 30 2022: Disabled Welfare Development Association (DWDA) organised the 8th Disabled Welfare and Development Programme at Manipur Press Club here on Monday.

The programme was attended by Takyel ZP member Ngashepam Bimola Devi, DWDA president Thokchom Sarju Devi, Manipur's joint chief electoral officer Ramananda Nongmeikapam, Takyel GP pradhan Khaidem Priyobala Devi and social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram as presidium members.

Speaking at the event, DWDA secretary Ch Nanao informed that it has been conducting various training programmes to promote the skilled differently abled persons.

The secretary said the programme at Manipur Press Club was conceived to showcase the products of eight individuals, who attended the training programme, so as to help the differently abled in some ways.
