Saikul PHC bags Kayakalp Award, again

Primary Health Centre (PHC) Saikul has been awarded the best PHC in the Kayakalp Award Competition for the year 2020-21 organised by State Health Society, National Health Mission (NHM) Manipur.
The award was presented on Monday by CM N Biren Singh in the presence of Health & Family Welfare minister Dr Sapam Ranjan Singh and additional chief secretary Vumlunmang Vualnam at a function held at Hotel Classic Grande, Chingmeirong, Imphal.
It is worth mentioning here that PHC Saikul has received the best PHC Kayakalp Award for the third consecutive year (2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21) by securing 97 per cent in two rounds of assessment.
The Kayakalp Award is given to public health facilities which excel in cleanliness, hospital upkeep, hygiene, sanitation, infection control measures, including bio-medical waste management.
