KEYS outplay CRAU by three wickets in Elite Tournament

Imphal, July 11 2022:
REYS (Khwai Nagamapal Lamabam Leikai) notched up a three-wicket win over CRAU (Khamnam Bazar) in Monday's action of the 6th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Tournament.
REYS bundled out CRAU for 160 in 37.5 overs and then chased down the target in 38.1 overs.
Kiran Laishram led the REYS attack, racking up three wickets as Yungkham Romanrio Roy and Alfred Hmar claimed two scalps each, with Nanao Singh Laishram chipping in with a wicket to lay the foundation for their side's triumph.
Potshangbam Ronil Singh (22), Sanatomba (21), Mehtab Jamai (16) and Khangemba Bimoi Singh (15) were the main run getters for CRAU, who elected to bat first.
In REYS' run chase, S Jayanta (52), Naoshekpam Manglemba Meetei (42), Daniel (22) and Bipinkumar Langpoklakpam (15) played vitalrole in helping their side seal the win.
The Khwai Nagamapal squad achieved the target in 38.1 overs with three wickets to spare.
For CRAU, Mehtab Jamai, Lamabam Ajay Singh, Ayekpam Uttam Singh, Sanatomba K and Khangembam Bimoi Singh took one wicket each.
Sagatpam Jayanta, who scored 52 runs off 79 balls, was named the man of the match; WYC and SCCC will square off on Tuesday.
