Many ditch parent party to join NPF

Congress members in Ukhrul district numbering 200 have ditched their party to join the Naga People's Front (NPF), according to NPF leader Athuan Abonmai.
The general secretary of NPF, Manipur State claimed that 200 Congressmen from Ukhrul district have resigned from the primary membership to join the NPF few days ago.
According to Athuan Abonmai, the people have lost faith in the national parties as the latter have been fooling the people for a long time now.
"These bluffs of the national parties are known by even kids and the people today seek solace in the regional parties," stated the NPF leader.
Meanwhile, Naga Peoples' Front (NPF), Manipur State strongly condemned the 'barbaric racial killing' of Nido Tania, a student from Arunachal Pradesh by a mob at Delhi.
The NPF said such racial killing, torture and harassment physically and mentally meted out to a North-East citizen by Indian mainland become common phenomenon which is very unfortunate.
The Government of India should take up immediate remedies to erase such racism before things go out of control.
Racial discrimination is the greatest enemy of human society.
Government of India should know that innocent North-Eastern citizens have been bearing the brunt of racial discrimination in mainland India for long.
NPF Manipur State also strongly condemned the physical assault of two innocent girls of Ukhrul district, Manipur at Delhi by these 'racism fanatics' .
According to Athuan Abonmai, the NPF State general secretarty, inspite of cries for help by those two helpless girls, no one dared to venture out to rescue them as they knew that those girls are from North-East which is very unfortunate and condemnable by all human societies.
NPF Manipur State demands immediate judicial probe over the killing of Mr.Nido Tania and also immediate arrest to those involved in both the heinous crime and book them as per law of the land.
It also demands that the erring police personal who intentionally delayed the registering of FIR should be suspended immediately and takes action.
NPF Manipur State however deplores the alleged bias attitude of Congress led Manipur State for not raising the issue and maintain complete silent saying while their .
The Manipur State Government led by O.Ibobi Singh never concerns the security of our boys and girls of the State who are the victims of racial discrimination in various part of the country.
A number of such racial discriminations incident took place but the State Govt.will always remain silent unless hue and cry were made by the public, which is regretted and condemnable by all right thinking citizens.
The NPF Manipur State then applauded the initiative of North-East Regional Parties Front (NERPF) for giving pressure to all the central leaders of the country to eliminate racial discrimination towards the North- East people.
Such step taken by the Regional parties under the eagis of NERPF welcomes every citizjoin in hancl to bring justice for the region.
