Class 12 exam begins today, many wish student candidates

The class 12 examination 2023 conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) will commence from February 23 and continue till April 1 .
The examination will commence with English subject and conclude with Elective papers.
On the other hand, Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Education minister Th Basanta Kumar Singh and several student bodies have extended their warm and best wishes to the class 10 and 12 students (2022-23 batch) who are appearing in the ensuing examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BOSEM) and the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM) commencing from March 16 and February 23 respectively.
In his message, CM Biren said, "Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed in his book 'Exam Warrior' that students appearing for examinations should become exam warriors, not worriers, and appear the exams in a more enjoyable and less stressful way".
Stating that although these examinations are crucial and important in shaping one's career, students should never get stressed but treat exams as a celebration, creating a 'stress-free' environment, N Biren advised the student candidates to study hard and prepare well for the exams to score good marks.
It is equally important to compete only with one's own self, not against anyone else, he said and also urged parents and teachers to guide the students to perform with confidence and not to put unnecessary pressure on students N Biren also appealed to the students not to be oyer anxious but study with a calm mind.
Sharing his views, Education minister Th Basanta said that education is not just a process of giving knowledge for a future job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide one's life in the right path.
"The first and foremost thing about exams is never to be scared of them," the minister said, adding that each examination is preceded by preparatory time, which must be utilised optimally.
Pointing out that the second thing about exams is to give hundred per cent near the exams to studies, the minister advised the students not to be in panic but to revise as much as they can with proper breaks.
He also urged the students not to lose heart while also advising them to give their best efforts so as to make the results rewarding.
The two leaders then wished the students the very best for their examinations.
On the other hand, in separate releases, Naga Students' Association Manipur (ANSAM), All Tribal Students' Union Manipur (ATSUM), Democratic Students' Alliance of Manipur (DESAM), Pangal Students' Organisation (PSO) Manipur, Kangleipak Students' Association (KSO), Manipur State Council All India Students' Federation and Manipur Youth and Students' Union (MYSU) extended their best wishes to the students who are appearing in the HLSE and HSE examinations 2023 .
