State youth exhorted to learn Japanese language

Overseas Point director Konsam Sanjeev has stated that learning Japanese language wifi be of huge benefit to the youth in many ways.
Speaking to media persons at the conference hall of Overseas Point located near Andro Parking, Wangkhei on Tuesday, Sanjeev informed that the consultancy has been helping youth in identifying the core skills in demand in view of the Act East Policy.
Some of the skills would consist of learning important foreign languages such as Korean, Japanese, Burmese, Thai and Chinese.
Thus, for the first phase, opportunity for studying Korean and Japanese language was launched, with the training for Korean being conducted at CAU.
For Japanese, it will commence from November 17 and the six-month long course will be industry based.
Japanese language expert Chingsubam Victor stated that learning Japanese will be a huge career boost.
He said that around 12,000 students across India pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test every year, but the number is relatively low for Manipur.
Overseas Point decided to introduce the course with the aim of providing information on business and work culture and also ensure overall personality development.
