House condoles demise of Selkai Hrangchal

Members of Manipur Legislative Assembly observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to Selkai Hrangchal, a former member of the House from Tipaimukh (ST) assembly constituency, who passed away.
Speaker Th Satyabrata moved a resolution regarding the demise of the former member of the House and expressed his deep and profound sorrow.
Leader of the House N Biren Singh in obituary reference said that the demise of Selkai Hrangchal is a great loss to the state.
Selkai Hrangchal born on December 31, 1937 at Rengkhai in Churachandpur district was involved in various socio-cultural and economic activities.
He was elected to the 5th Manipur Legislative Assembly and inducted as the health minister, the CM recounted.
Participating in the obituary reference, Congress MLA O Ibobi Singh said that Selkai Hrangchal was a man of reason and jolly fellow and described his passing away as a great loss for the state and for the constituency in particular.
MLAs Kh Joykisan, Ngursanglur, LM Khaute also participated in the obituary reference and expressed their deep sorrow on the demise of Selkai Hrangchal.
