After the meeting, Manglem Monsang told media persons that former members.of ADC, Chandel strong condemn state government's failure of introducing the ADC Bill, 2021 recommended by HAC during the last session of state assembly.
He urged the government to introduce the Bill in the Assembly for discussion at least once so that relation between hill and valley could be strengthened though passing of the Bill is a different matter.
Condemning induction of nine MLAs from valley areas into HAC despite having existing rule of inducting only tribal MLAs into the committee, Manglem said that it was against Constitution and the matter must be resolved in a transparent manner to avoid unavoidable circumstances in future.
ADC election has been postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic and tenure of members had been extended for six months.

Recruitment should be made after holding ADC election and formation of ADC government, he said and warned of launching different forms of agitations in coordination with CSOs if the government goes ahead with the recruitment process before holding ADC election.
