Pointing out that the committee has been demanding disturbance-free educational zone since 2008, Somorjit said that the awareness campaign has been re-launched by forming human chain protest in the schools.
He welcomed the statement given by the education minister about rationalisation of transfer and posting of government school teachers and suggested that the policy be translated into action at the earliest.
Somorjit informed that a public meeting related to the said campaign will be held on July 5 and urged every section of the society to support the campaign.
