MoS Dr Bharati visits Bishnupur health centre

A ministerial team led by union, minister of state for Health & Family Welfare Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar and state's Health & F/W minister Dr S Ranjan Singh visited Health and Wellness Centre, Phubala in Bishnupur district.
As part of the visit, a discussion and interaction programme was also held with the health officials and staff of the center.
Speaking to the media, Dr Bharati informed that the government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully implemented many health care and welfare schemes for the public.
More than 1.5 lakh Health and Wellness Centres have been opened in the country, she said, adding that the government is aiming to extend benefits of healthcare and welfare schemes to every nook and corner of the country.
She acknowledged that through collective effort of health workers including doctors, scientists, nurses, ASHA workers and COVID warriors, the nation is successful in driving away Covid pandemic.
The minister also congratulated the role played by state health workers during such crucial time of the pandemic.
She also highlighted the role of chief minister N Biren for successful implementation of different health schemes of government and stated that for a strong and healthy India, cooperation of all sections of people is necessary.
The ministerial team was also accompanied by included Health Services director Dr K Rajo Singh, State Mission director, NHM, Dr Somorjit Ningombam, deputy director Dr Prabin, other officials and staff of health department.
