Elite cricket: Blue Hawk register 6-run win

Blue Hawk (Khurai) defeated SCCC (Singjamei) by six runs (DLS method) in a Group B match of the 6th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Tournament on Wednesday.
Blue Hawk elected to bat and scored 107 runs after being bowled out in 34 overs.
The innings saw Amom Guniram (42) and Wakambam Samson (26) emerge as key run-getters for the Khurai side, who lost four of their wickets to Lishan Meitei Khaidem, two each to Sandeep Chakraborty and Rakeshwor Republic Hidangmayum, and one to Abdul Kasim.
The match was reduced to 18 overs halfway due to bad weather and it proved to be crucial for Blue Hawk as they restricted SCCC to 47/4 in the reduced overs, giving Singjamei squad a six-run victory.
Ulenyai Khwairakpam (19) and Rohit Moirangthem (12 not out) were run-getters in double digits in a losing cause.
Jitendra Bishan Thakur picked up two wickets as Wakambam Samson and Mutum Pritam took one each for triumphant Blue Hawk.
Amom Guniram, who scored 41 runs off 71 balls, was named the man of the match.
