Among the three of the same family from Thongju Pechu Lampak under Singjamei police station, it was Khamba (35), son of Ibochouba who succumbed to the sickness.
It is reported that the luffa was bought on June 9 from Kongba Keithel.
On June 13, Khamba (35), son of Ibochouba was admitted to RIMS as he had bad bowel movement and vomitted frequently while his mother Longjam (ongbi) Ibemu (68) and sister Purnima (46) were admitted on June 14 last.
