Tamenglong launches Development Monitoring Mission

Tamenglong, April 07 2022:
The first meeting of the District Level Coordination Team and all Sub-Divisional Monitoring Mission Prabhari Officers along with district level officers and SDOs/BDOs of Tamenglong district was held on Thursday at the Conference Hall of Tribal Affairs & Hills directorate office in Imphal.
Tribal Affairs & Hills director C Arthur Worchuiyo, who is also the prabhari officer of Tamenglong, presided over the meeting and urged officials of the different departments to identify schemes and projects so as to ensure that the targeted communities and beneficiaries avail benefit of the schemes.
While informing that there are around 150 villages in Tamenglong district, he said the mission's prime objective is to extend all possible administrative support to aid community and individual in income generating activities.
The state government, with an aim to ensure that development reach every village and every person had initiated Sub-Division Development Monitoring Mission for which Prabhari Officer for each sub-division has been designated from among IAS, IFS, MCS and MFS officers, Arthur Worchuiyo stated and urged the department officials to compile various schemes and projects and submit relevant reports at the earliest possible either to him or to the deputy commissioner of Tamenglong.
During the meeting the role of prabhari officers was also highlighted and advised to work sincerely for the success of the mission while DEOs highlighted the various schemes and projects Which the people or the community can be benefited from this mission.
The meeting was also attended by Tamenglong DC Hungyo Worshang, SDOs of Tamenglong, Tamei and Tousem, as well as top officials of PHED, Health department, Social welfare, Horticulture, Agriculture, Soil and Water conservation, Cooperative, Fishery, Power, PWD, MSPDCL, Forest, Veterinary and District Information Office.
