Public Day conducted in Noney , Kangpokpi districts

Imphal, January 28 2023: The January edition of Meeyamgi Numit & Hill Leaders' Day for Noney district was held on Friday at the Multipurpose Hall of Longmai-III, Noney by Noney district administration.

During the programme, Noney deputy commissioner Joseph Pauline Kamson distributed school accessories like white boards, uniforms, etc., and prizes to students belonging to different schools of the district.

He also conducted few rounds of inspection of various stalls opened at the function PHED Division, District Cooperative Office, Noney district police, District Industries Centre, Hand-loom & Textiles Department, Medical Department, Department of Social Welfare and ICDS Cell Noney among others opened their stalls at the programme venue to cater to requirement of the people.

Sub-divisional officers, district level officers and other related officials were present at the programme.

Kangpokpi district administration also organised the 6th District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit at the SDO/BDO Hall of Island Sub-Division, Kangpokpi district on Friday.

Deputy commissioner Kengoo Zuringla heard the grievances of the public and ensured that all their queries/issues were addressed by the departments concerned.

She also advised the public to put up their queries to the related departments without hesitation so that the officials can help them sort out and address outstanding issues at the earliest possible.

Meanwhile, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Syed Amjad Ali ensured smooth conduct and timely disposal of grievances Of the public.

He also advised the people to enquire with the departments concerned for more details to avoid any misinformation.

During the day, more than 26 government departments tended to queries/grievances of the public, who turned up in large number.

Normal health services and other medical needs were provided to the needy, apart from vaccination programme.

Anti-Rabies vaccines was also ad ministered to pet dogs and posters of 'Sakhi: One Stop Centre' written in both English and local dialect distributed to public for wide publicity.

Distribution of weavers' cards, soil health cards, CMHT cards and other services were some of the other highlights of the event.
