Traffic police, SDC, CHC organise Ningol Chakkouba

Under the supervision of its superintendent of police Wungpam Kasar, Traffic Control Police Wing organised Ningol Chakkouba celebration and hosted a feast for the female personnel at its MG Avenue office on Saturday.
Speaking to the media, Wungpam Kasar informed that the lady traffic personnel were on duty as usual on the day of Ningol Chakkouba celebrated October 27 even if it was an important and special festival for the women folk of Manipur.
As such programme was organised belatedly was to honour the female traffic personnel, the SP informed.
Social Development Club, Chingtham village in Thoubal district also celebrated its 4th foundation day and hosted a Ningol Chakkouba feast for the elderly women and widows living under the jurisdiction of the club at its premises on Saturday.
The event was attended by club president Sapam Radheshyam, Langathel Zilla Parishad member Soibam Kullabidhu, Sapam Gram Panchayat pradhan Sapam Rameshwor, ward members Sapam Ibohanbi, Sapam Dabalee and Thokchom Sanatomba as presidium members.
Numerous womenfolk who are above 75 years of age and 50 widows of the area took part in the Ningol Chakkouba feast and simple gifts were presented to them afterward.
Meanwhile, male staff of CHC Wangoo Laipham Hospital organised Ningol Chakkouba for the female staff at the hospital on Saturday.
Simple gifts were presented to the female staff of the hospital including those who were posted in it earlier.
Later, they all reaffirmed to work for the welfare of patients sincerely and with sacrificial spirit.
CHC Wangoo Hospital Management Committee Thoudam Dhamen appreciated the doctors, nurses and staffers of the hospital for their dedication.
