NCAC's demands place before Govt

Imphal, March 13 2013:
Naga Chiefs' Association, Chandel (NCAC) has placed series of demands before the state government and urged for prompt implementation for the welfare of the people in Chandel District.
In a statement jointly signed by its President and General Secretary, NCAC demanded that the District Level Officers should not stay in their offices for more than 3 years but while during the period of their posting, they should stay in their office to discharge their duties sincerely.
The Association also warned of launching agitation by the job card holders if the Govt fails to issue a mimimum of 40 days' job under MG-NREGS 2012-2013 before the end of current financial year.
Furthermore, the Association demanded transparency in the distribution of centrally sponsored schemes to the beneficiaries and advised all teachers under ZEO Chandel and ADC Chandel to attend the classes without fail and advised doctors serving in District hospital to perform their duties sincerely on regular basis.
