Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang said they were yet to hold a State's Plan discussion with the Planning Commission and expressed the hope that there would be 9% increase to their Plan size.
He, however, disclosed that the Memorandum on the State's finances had already been submitted to the Prime Minister who had further endorsed to the Planning Commission for scrutiny.
Then this would be again sent to the Finance Ministry for further examination before "it finally goes to the PMO, he said.
Disclosing this during a formal meeting with the members of the Kohima Press Club (KPC) here at his official residence today, the chief minister was confident that the Center would look into the State's financial position from the realistic angle.
Zeliang dismissed the rumors that the Planning Commission had already initiated to deduct more money from the State's Annual Plan Size.

"Only after this discussion, I will be able to tell you the exact financial position of the State, he stated saying he was confident the Center would realize and help the State.
Chief Minister also said the Planning Commission had already accepted the points raised by the State that it was because of the 13th Finance Commission Award to the State during the UPA regime, the State landed into this precarious financial position.
"When I met Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and explained the position, he also told me that he would look into it as and when he receives the report from the Planning Commission, he said.
"So the PMO is waiting report from the Finance Ministry for his final decision on the State finance".
