AR units train, motivate Agniveer aspirants

Imphal, April 26 2023:
In continuation with the efforts of Assam Rifles to motivate and train the boys and girls, Somsai Battalion of IGAR (South) conducted pre-recruitment training and extended administrative support to the young aspirants willing to join Indian Armed Forces in Ukhrul district.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the pre-recruitment training capsule was conducted for CEE online examination at Ukhrul COB from March 15 to April 16 .
The capsule comprised of physical and mock test training imparted by experienced instructors.
Aspirants belonging to far flung locations were provided accommodation and transportation free of charges.
More than 150 youths were mentally and physically conditioned to appear for the examination.
On the other-hand, Churachandpur Battalion of IGAR (South) organised a motivational lecture for youth of nearby villages to join Indian Armed Forces on Wednesday at Tuilumjang.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the lecture was organised to spread awareness amongst the youth about various opportunities to join Indian Army.
Interaction with youth was also carried out to motivate them to utilise "Agniveer scheme" .
In addition, a physical screening test was also conducted for youth of nearby villages attending the event to assess their present physical standards and guide them to maintain the requisite standards for recruitment rally.
The youth were briefed about the upcoming recruitment opportunities for 2023 and assured of assistance and guidance from Security Forces to achieve their dreams to serve the nation.
A total of 20 youths attended the event and participated in the event.
