E-Stamping launched

Imphal, April 26 2023:
E-Stamping was formally launched today in Manipur by Namoijam Kheda Varta Singh, Secretary (Land Resources) in the presence of officials from Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited; Land Resources Department, Sub- Registrars of Imphal East and Imphal West, Branch Manager of Union Bank of India.
E-Stamping will provide a convenient and secure way of paying Stamp Duty.
It is being introduced with Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd as the Central Record Keeping Agency.
Authorized Collection Centres have been appointed, who will be responsible for issuing e-stamp paper.
Facilities for self-printing have also been provided.
E-stamping will provide various advantages that will significantly improve convenience for the public including fast, convenient, secure and electronic mode of stamp duty payment; multiple security features to prevent fraud; a single e-stamp for any amount; suitable for payment in all modes and online verification for authenticity.
