MSC/CPI takes out protest rally

Imphal, April 26 2023:
The Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI), Top Branch took out a rally at Top Khongnang Khong under Kshetrigao Assembly Constituency as a part of CPI's nationwide rally campaign denouncing the ongoing rule of Bharatiya Janata Party.
In a release, MSC/CPI informed that the nationwide campaign started from April 14 and will conclude on May 15 .
Notable personalities who participated in the rally included L Sotinkumar, former State secretary; I Tomba, State council member and Th Yaiskul, State theoretician among others.
It may be noted that the rally was taken out as a part of the 61st CPI Branch Conference.
The conference was presided over by Th Kamdeva, retired Army Officer, wherein discussions on numerous political reports as well as the organisation itself was conducted.
The gathering also resolved to pressure the State administration to address the issue of poor irrigation system in Top village.
Further, a resolution was also taken to appeal for renovation of the Top Khongnang Khong bridge.
