Six new dengue cases reported in Moreh

Moreh, September 10 2022:
With the detection of six new dengue cases out of 14 samples tested at KRSNAA-Lab sub-divisional hospital Moreh, the number of dengue positive cases in Moreh has reached 173 .
Numerous patients infected by viral disease are under treatment at isolation ward of sub-divisional hospital, Moreh and many of them availed benefits of Chief Ministergi Haksel Tengbang (CMHT) health card including medicines from the empanelled pharmacy located inside the hospital.
The newly infected patients include two from Moreh Keinou Makhong Leikai, one each from near Moreh Forest gate, Carman Veng, New Moreh and Haolenphai village.
Under the supervision of District Malaria officer, Tengnoupal Dr Manibushan, a team led by AMO Kamei Khamchungpu and sub-divisional hospital, Moreh special Malaria unit staffers conducted fogging activities at Eastern Shine School, Moreh ward no 7.However, fogging and surveillance activities in the border town halted for the day due to rain, but will continue the next day.
So far, 28 people of Moreh ward no.7 Heinou Makhong Leikai tested positive for dengue, ten from Zion Veng, eight each from Phaicham Veng, Premnagar and Gamnom Veng, six each from Muslim Basti, four each from Ngamkhai Veng, Nepali Vasti and New Moreh, three each from Home Guard Veng, Lhangnom Veng and Cannan Veng, two each from Turel Wangma Leikai and Dalpati Leikai and numerous other from different villages.
