Student unions against admission fee

Madrassa has demanded the slashing of the admission fee of Govt.Hr.
Secondary Schools which has been hiked recently.
There is no more difference between a private school and a govt.school regarding the admission fee, the Union said.
Students who study in Govt.schools are not from rich families.
They study in Govt.schools as they cannot afford the high fees in private schools, it added.
It further expressed its worries on plans of the authorities which will make Govt.schools vanish from our society soon.
In another press note released by General Secretary, Students Union, Kha Manipur College, Kakching has also stated that the college is being studied by mostly poor students.
The hike of admission fee by education dept.
of Manipur has forced many poor students to discontinue their study.
It lastly appealed to the education department to reduce the fee in the interest of the students.
