Imphal, January 29 2022: A mass Covid vaccination programme was held at Yurembam Mayai Leikai Uyung Makhong in Imphal West district yesterday.

The vaccination drive was organised by Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) in association with Yurembam Apunba Club in a bid to help in protecting the people from Coronavirus, said a press release by IPAK.

Around 140 individuals were vaccinated with the 1st and 2nd doses of Covid vaccine during the said programme.

IPAK also expressed gratitude to the Health Department and its staff, doctors and nurses for making the mass Covid vaccination drive a successful one.

Further IPAK also assured that it will continue to organise such vaccination programmes and appealed to all eligible ones to get vaccinated at the earliest so as to stay protected from Coronavirus and to curb its further spread, added the press release.
