Choose leaders who understand people's hardships: LJP (Ram Vilas)

Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) Ram Vilas, Manipur state president Khoirom Deepu has appealed to the public to choose leaders who understand their suffering before elections, stating there is no benefit in regretting after voting.
He was speaking during a relief distribution and interaction programme organised by the party at the relief camp in Konthoujam Makha Leikai on the occasion of Kang festival.
Deepu said that with the aim of sharing in the grief of those staying at relief camps during the festive season, the party distributed essential items today.
He urged voters to elect representatives who live with the people and understand their problems, instead of those who remain indifferent after winning.
"If the elected representatives truly understood the problems of those in relief camps, these issues would have been addressed", he added.
He stressed that to build a new Manipur, educated youth must enter politics with a service-oriented mindset.
LJP Ram Vilas Manipur Mahila president Konthoujam Sonia said Union Minister Chirag Paswan is focusing on youth and women empowerment.
She added that the party has been and will continue to launch various welfare programmes for women and youth in Manipur.
