Kakching, April 30 2021:
The All Kakching Students Union (AKSU), in a statement issued today, condemned the transfer of teachers from Kakching Higher Secondary School in Kakching as per an order issued by the Government of Manipur on April 28 .
AKSU stated that Kakching Higher Secondary School is one of the best school in the district and has been included in the 'School Fagathansi Mission' of the Government of Manipur for Wabagai Assembly Constituency.
The Union raised question against the motive of the State Government for issuing the transfer order of Mayanglambam Brajabindro Singh, Lecturer Physics and Ksh Meghachandra Singh, Lecturer Sociology when the number of teachers in the school is already insufficient.
Kakching Higher Secondary School with more than 600 students is plagued with the lack of teachers in various departments along with dire condition of the school infrastructure, it added.
AKSU appealed to the State Government and the Education Minister to stay the transfer order for the welfare of the student community at large.
The All Kakching Students Union further mentioned that the Union is prepared to carry out different forms of agitation in association with the students of the school if the concerned authority doesn't heed to their demands at the earliest.
