Victim of mob justice demands action

Victim of mob justice Abdul Helim, 35, from Keirao Awang Leikai whose house was vandalised in the midnight of November 2 following the death of Md Hasmat Ali alias Babu has demanded State Government to take stringent action against those involved in vandalising the house and also provide compensation for the damages.
Abdul Helim along with his brothers Matalif alias Amu (45), Jallunddin (50) and Abdul Barik (30) lived next door to the late Madrassa Headmaster Hasmat Ali.
On November 2 midnight, the following day after Hasmat Ali was lynched to death on charge of cattle theft, an angry mob burnt down the house of Matalif and vandalised property and houses of the other brothers Jallunddin and Abdul Barik.
Demanding State Government to investigate the incident, Abdul Helim at a press meet has also appealed the same to provide compensation for the property damage incurred in the incident.
